Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why can I not buy your photos of my horse from all UK track's?
A. All print or personal download sales should be directed through the official photographer or photography teams. At this time, my official tracks are, Cheltenham, Newbury, Nottingham and Market Rasen. For a list of all UK tracks and their Official photographers, please visit the ROA.
Q: Why do framed photographs take so long?
A: Each frame is made bespoke to your order and this takes time, all prints are edited, cropped and sent for professional printing and then collated and framed by myself. I use the highest quality printers and frame makers, to make sure that you receive the best possible product and this takes a little extra time, up to 28 days. However, if you have a specific date that you need the order for, then please let me know.
Q: I don't like the style of frame that you have shown or it doesn't match my existing frames, can I select another style?
A: Absolutely, you can. Before you order, if you use the CONTACT US page with your requirements, then I would be happy to assist you.
Q: Why am I not able to order photos from courses where you are the official photographer before a certain date, for example, I would like to order a print from Newbury in July 2021
A: Whilst I am the official photographer for these tracks now, all sales prior to the official start date will need to be routed to the previous photographer. If you would like to use the CONTACT page and detail the course and date, I can put you in contact with the correct person.

Q: Why are there no images before 2021?

A: The website is still a work in progress and we are adding new albums almost daily. If there is a specific horse from an earlier date than we have on display, then please get in touch via the CONTACT page
Q: Why aren't photos of all horses available to view shortly after racing finishes?
A: Each photo gets reviewed and edited before it is published. We aim to get winning horses on the site within a couple of hours of racing finishing. However the rest of the field takes a little longer. If there is an image that you would like to see sooner then please use the CONTACT page with the horses name and date.
Q: Can I have more than one photo in a frame?
A: Yes, the price is calculated according to the overall size. Please contact us with the numbers of the photos you would like in the finished picture and we will make up a proof for your approval.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small pieces of data, stored in text files, that are stored on your computer or other device when websites are loaded in a browser. They are widely used to "remember" you and your preferences, either for a single visit (through a "session cookie") or for multiple repeat visits (using a "persistent cookie"). They ensure a consistent and efficient experience for visitors, and perform essential functions such as allowing users to register and remain logged in. Cookies may be set by the site that you are visiting (known as "first party cookies"), or by other websites who serve up content on that site ("third party cookies").

Below is a description of each category of cookies that are in use, along with specific examples.

Strictly Necessary

These are the cookies that are essential for websites to perform their basic functions. These include those required to allow registered users to authenticate and perform account related functions, as well as to save the contents of virtual "carts" on sites that have an e-commerce functionality:

Controlling cookies

Visitors may wish to restrict the use of cookies, or completely prevent them from being set. Most browsers provide for ways to control cookie behaviour such as the length of time they are stored - either through built-in functionality or by utilizing third party plugins.

Web beacons and other tracking technologies

Both websites and HTML e-mails may also contain other tracking technologies such as "web beacons". These are typically small transparent images that provide us with statistics, for similar purposes as cookies. They are often used in conjunction with cookies, though they are not stored on your computer in the same way. As a result, if you disable cookies, the web beacons may still load, but their functionality will be restricted.
